INTENSIVE AND SEMI INTENSIVE COURSES Intensive courses are usually taken over a 1 week period with the test at the end. This course would be suited to those with time restrictions due to work, study or other commitments. A typical course would consist of 30 hours in-car training, 6 hours per day, monday to friday with the test friday afternoon. The workbook and DVD are essential aids for the course, allowing pupils to prepare for lessons during the evening ready for the following day. These courses do need to be booked in advance and you must have passed your theory test before it is possible to book your practical test date. Semi intensive courses are usually taken over a 2 - 6 week period and allow for a more flexible approach. Lessons can be taken from 1 - 3 hours at a time meaning pupils usually find this a far easier and more manageable way to learn. The extra time also allows for practice outside of the lessons with friends or family. REFRESHER AND WEEKLY LESSONS Ideal for pupils who are happy to book lessons on a day to day basis. Weekly lessons can also suit pupils just needing a little extra practice leading to their test or qualified drivers looking to improve skills such as parking, motorways or city centre routes. LEARN TO DRIVE AT 16 Driving tuition is available to all drivers 16+ who hold their provisional driving license. Open until 6pm monday - friday, the offroad course at Westpoint, Exeter is an excellent place to gain the basic skills and confidence required to then drive on the busier roads. Many new or nervous drivers also find this the perfect place to start. THEORY TEST AND PRACTICAL AIDS Workbooks and CD-ROMs are available to help with your theory test. These are an excellent aid to revising The Highway Code and also offer the chance to try mock tests, giving you an accurate simulation of the real thing. These also give helpfull feedback highlighting any weaker areas you may need to revise such as law, road markings and hazard perception. A workbook and DVD are also available to study to help with the practical lessons. These give pupils a chance to look at what will be covered before coming to each lesson. With diagrams, questions and lesson quizzes for areas such a moving and stopping, roundabouts and reversing, pupils can come to their lesson feeling confident they know whats ahead. These aids also reduce the amount of time required for explenations, allowing more time to drive! PASS PLUS Having passed their driving test many pupils like to continue improving their driving skills and knowledge with the Pass Plus course. Aswel as offering invaluable experience in areas such a motorway and rural driving, many insurance companies also recognise Pass Plus and can offer up to 1/3 off premiums. The course covers 6 specific areas while also covering other motoring skills - Dual Carriageways, Motorways, Night Driving, Adverse Weather Conditions, Rural Roads and City Centre Driving.
